Benjamin Genocchio (born 1969) has spent two decades in the visual arts in New York working as an art critic, print magazine and website writer, editor, art fair director and art gallery executive. He is currently Editor In Chief of Incollect Magazine and Incollect.com and the Strategic Advisor to the Scottsdale Art Fair. He is based in New York and Washington DC. Prior to this he was the Vice President of Galerie Gmurzynska, the Swiss-based art gallery with branches in Zurich, St. Moritz, Zugg and New York (he set up the New York branch gallery) and before that was Executive Director of the Armory Show New York, a job he took on after having conceived and launched Artnet News as its founder and first Editor In Chief.

Benjamin Genocchio has a Ph.D in art history with a specialization in Latin American art. He was formerly the founder and first editor-in-chief of Artnet News, the world's most popular art news site by the number of readers, and previously worked as an art critic and correspondent for The Australian Newspaper and then The New York Times. He was the editor-in-chief of Art+Auction  magazine, and the art news website artinfo.com, and is the author, editor and co-editor of 9 books as well as over 2,000 articles, essays, catalogs and reviews.
